Health Equity for Immigrants

Healthcare is a basic human right, and we won’t stop until every member of our community has access to the care they need. Building on last year’s historic victory of $75 million for Apple Health Expansion, we will push for full funding of the program to ensure all low-income immigrants and refugees can receive affordable health coverage.

Washingtonians who have been asked to put their health needs on hold are being asked to continue waiting. Further expansion through increased funding is crucial to ensuring that every Washingtonian will have access to healthcare services. We need to make sure that all immigrants regardless of immigration or income status are able to access affordable healthcare. We must fight for increased funding and enshrine our programs into law so that they can never be taken away.
