Civil legal aid is free legal assistance to low and middle-income people, families, and communities with (non-criminal) civil legal problems. This includes domestic violence, family law, governmental assistance and services, healthcare, housing and utilities, landlord/tenant issues, consumer & financial services, and workplace & employment issues, among others.
