Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network (WAISN) is committed to empowering our communities. One of the ways we do that is to inform and educate the community about their rights. We offer the following trainings:

Rapid Response Training: Learn how you can organize communities and teams to defend against ICE/CBP activity!

Deportation Defense: Get trained on setting up deportation defense teams and launching campaigns to support the defense, release and return of detained community members.

Housing Rapid Response: A specific training around rapid response to ICE/CBP activity at home/someone’s place of living.

Know Your Rights for Workplace: Learn how to create a safe zone for undocumented folks and exercise rights within a workplace/space in the face of workplace audits and other immigration enforcement activity.

We currently only offer these trainings in English and Spanish, however we would love to expand these capacities. If there are other languages you would like this to be offered in, please contact Alex (alex@waisn.org) and we would love to discuss how we can make that happen.
