WAISN Resource Research Volunteer Interest Form

The Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network (WAISN) statewide Hotline is a powerful tool that allows our immigrant and refugee communities to report immigration activity and access information about community resources.

The WAISN Resource Research Team supports the Hotline Operators and Network Partners so that they have the information needed to give community members accurate information about a resource, and assurance that it is a safe and trusted resource. The information we gather is uploaded to the WAISN Resource Finder: https://resources.waisn.org

Resource Research Team members need to use a computer and cell phone to contact organizations to learn about the services they offer and the accessibility of the resource for immigrant community members. They should be comfortable enough with technology to use online tools (such as our Resource Finder database), their computer, cell phone, and email with ease.

Assignments can be tailored to the time you have available, and you can work outside of normal business hours. Strong communication and writing skills are helpful but not required–we are all learning together on this team.

Once you fill out the form, we will contact you about an orientation and training! We are excited to welcome you to our team!
